Chef Damiano Nigro is not only very creative, but he is also very fond of discovering new tecniques that can be used in the kitchen. He likes season’s ingredients of first quality, but that can be purchased from the local farmers, because the innavation could be found also in traditions and thanks to good and local products.

This meeting between the innovaton and traditions is the base of Damiano Nigro‘s idea of good food, which is served at the restaurant Relais Villa Amelia, in the heart of Piemonte, a few kilometers from the city of Alba.
Four years after its opening, the restaurant received the first Michelin star.
