Chef Andrea Aprea

Chef Andrea Aprea, born in 1977, starts his career working for restaurants in Great Britain. After this, and after the experiences in San Frediano and Montpeliano, his young age and his strong curiosity led him to travel and discover the world: from Milan to Kuala Lumpur, then back again in Italy, and also in the UK for few years.

After coming back in Milan, he works as a chef for the VUN, a restaurant inside the Park Hyatt Hotel in Milan.
The name of the restaurant, VUN, means “one” to symbolize not only the strong bond between the restaurant and the territory, but also the strong bond of the chef between the tadition of the territory where he lives (the North) and his roots , that can be found in the South.

Entering in the Vun is a food experience…the food is the main charachter here, and the design we can find inside is there to help living the experience with all our five senses.
